After speaking with the general manager he said they would be having a meeting that week and would call us to discuss whether or not they found a solution. We never received a call but received a bill for $400.
Had American Sun Control put a Screen room on the back deck with rails. Love the look and really enjoying this outdoor space

We had American Sun Control remove an existing awning for us when we replaced our roof. When they reinstalled the awning they moved it back four inches from their initial installation . The awning would not clear our newly replaced splash guard so they removed it. They also split one of our rafters by drilling holes 4 inches from the original holes from their initial installation. They repaired the rafters be putting a 2x10 n our attic then added braces so the new installation would be "stable". Now our awning will open only if the rod for opening and shutting it is at an angle and rubbing our new guttering. They suggested that we purchase a motor from them, which would entail hiring an electrician to properly install...all at our cost.
American Sun Control recently installed locking pool gates around a pool we've built. A couple weeks after the install I noticed that our 3-year-old son was able to open the gate, even when locked with a key. I called American Sun Control and spoke with Steve. He said he'd take care of the issue, but after several weeks stop returning my calls. I then spoke with Pam (the manager) who informed me that the gates were working fine, but my 3 year old wasn't using it properly. I insisted that the sole purpose of a locked gate is to keep a 3 year old out, if it doesn't do that, the gate doesn't work. Pam became very unprofessional, telling me to keep a better eye on my kids and that when she had young children she, directly quoting her ... "I watched my kids".
I can't believe the unprofessional ism I just experienced with American Sun Control's staff and management. I can, to some degree, understand/accept poor quality products and shoddy work but to insult a father who has been trying for OVER A MONTH with repeated unanswered, unreturned phone calls to make sure his locked gate keeps his 3 year old safe is totally unacceptable.
So much to say, love the staff! They have screen rooms awnings and railing. Installers work hard to get the project done in a timely matter and as clean as possible.
