Nice folks, boat broke, did have some fun but....Please read whole review! My son rented a pontoon for our 3 generation Family outing on Sunday of 2017 Memorial Day weekend. Got there around 1230 and we were supposed to have fun til 7pm....instead we had to call for a tow back within the first 15 minutes out! For some reason motor started beeping and was overheating. Rescue arrived within 30 minutes to tow us back. It was an older boat, but clean and seemed in good condition. People were nice, dock guy was super friendly. We got a refund, but were told no other boats were available. It was sad, and really disappointing; first boat trip for my grandkids! Offered us a boat on Monday, but we are going home so couldn't do that. One of the guys in the office area said to call them again next time we come to the lake, mention the issue and they will give us an awesome deal. I hope that is true. Will post an updated review and rating after next visit!
Great prices and okay equipment. Family had a great day and the staff were awesome.
Very helpful. The people that were complaining in the previous post actually took all of our snacks.they picked them off the counter actually called and told the owner they did this and didn't bother to return them. Pretty rude people if you ask me. The owner staff and dock help were great.
Worst boat rental place ever!!! The heavy set man who runs the place is rude and demanding. Last year we rented and our boat broke down twice. They refused to refund our money and blammed us for boat issues. We had to be towed twice. This year we simply came there to get a temporary boat license for my son in which the heavy set man demanded a tip.... the only reason we came back this year is bcuz we stayed at Robins Resort which is next door. Bottom line, rude behavior 2 years in a row. Id suggest getting someone in there with better customer service skills who is courteous and can deal with the public in a positive manner.
Seriously the rudest staff ever. Except Ryan, he was very nice and helpful. They forgot to give us the life jackets for our tube which is fine I get people make mistakes but we didn't want to go back and get them considering a pontoon only goes so fast and did not want to waste extra time out of our day. They were so rude when we asked for a refund of the tube since we didn't get to and they were so unbelievably rude and defensive. Didn't even apologize or try and make it right. As for a business, you would think you would admit to your mistakes and make it right. They finally offered us 20 dollars off the tube rental and we payed 10 which is fair but it was how they went about it the situation that was terrible. Will never be back because of how I was treated.
